Agtech start-up Good Agriculture has raised a $1.5M seed round led by Nicely Road.

Good Agriculture is an AI-powered platform does back-office tasks for farmers so they can do more of what they do best: farming and stewarding the land. Good Agriculture’s initial services have helped farmers and ranchers all over the country save time, improve their profitability, and build thriving farm businesses.

“Great farmers shouldn’t also have to be great accountants, marketers, data engineers, logisticians, etc. to be successful,” said Alex Edquist, CEO & Co-Founder of Good Agriculture. “We’re here to help farmers flourish by taking on the ‘everything else’ that goes into running a farm business. This investment lets us scale that impact and help thousands more farmers.”

“We know farmers are balancing long days in the field with the demands of running a business,” said Kirsten Simmons, Chief Farming Officer & Co-Founder of Good Agriculture (and also the owner of Ecosystem Farm). “This investment allows us to keep innovating with tools like Digital Farm Hand and expand resources like our Farm Funding Match, so farmers can focus on farming while we help keep their operations sustainable.”

Good Agriculture’s customers save time, money, and headache – and they re-invest those resources into the farm, including adopting regenerative agricultural practices. Regenerative agriculture builds up ecosystems, produces healthier food, and can help farmers become more profitable. However, it is more complicated and time-consuming for the farmer.

Alabama in June 2025.

This aligned with Nicely Road’s mission of building extraordinary businesses that nourish, heal, and connect through agriculture. “Nicely Road exists to unleash the power of local farms and regenerative farming practices, and Good Agriculture is doing exactly that,” said Justin McElhattan, CEO of Nicely Road. “They understand the pressures farmers face and are building practical solutions that strengthen the agricultural community.”
