What We're Doing
We’re farmers, and we know how hard it is to keep track of records on the farm. We’ve extrapolated, guessed and fudged the numbers ten ways to Sunday. But we also know that means we miss a lot of details that could be making us better farmers – or at least, saving us some headaches when folks show up asking questions! That’s why we’re making Digital Farm Hand to make it truly easy to collect and learn from what happens on the farm.
And we need your help. Because we are a few farmers, and we know that our experiences and needs aren’t universal. We’re asking as many farmers as we can about their record keeping headaches and what might make things easier. So if you’ve ever spent hours pulling together harvest records for the year only to have several blank spots in the spreadsheet, give us a few opinions and we’ll do our best to create something that will make it easy to have a full set of records – and learn from them – in years to come.

We’ll write any grant application IF we feel you have a good chance of winning. If there isn’t a good fit to the grant criteria, it’s a waste of both your time and ours. We also decline to write non-specific national grants – think the programs that get thousands of applications for a few awards.

We are a few years away from officially launching this products for farmers to use around the use, but that’s the plan. Over time, this tool will provide personalized insights to improve your farm’s operations and profitability. It could also suggest practices that help with things like soil health and reducing your farm’s environmental impact.
