Get To Know The Faces Behind The Screen.

Good Agriculture helps farmers stay focused on their fields, not their spreadsheets. From bookkeeping and marketing to funding support, we handle the business side so you can focus on growing.

Our Mission and Values

At Good Agriculture, we are more than just a business; we’re a mission-driven community devoted to sustainable agriculture and the well-being of our farmers.

Putting farmers first—particularly small-to-midsize farmers—is at the core of everything we do, ensuring they have the resources and support to thrive.

Our philosophy of regeneration permeates all aspects of our work, from creating environmentally sustainable solutions to supporting the financial and personal growth of our farmers, team, and local communities.

By harnessing the latest technology, we aim to serve humanity and revolutionize the farming industry, making it more efficient, equitable, and environmentally friendly. We pride ourselves on maintaining transparency in all communications, being open to feedback, and having the courage to tackle the industry’s most pressing challenges.

Our mission is simple yet transformative: to be the back office for farmers, so they can focus on what they do best. In essence, “You grow, we do the rest!”

Alex Edquist Locklear

Co-Founder & CEO

Alex Edquist Locklear is the co-founder and CEO of Good Agriculture, which helps small to mid-sized farmers and agribusinesses take control of their operations by handling the back-office tasks that can slow them down. She’s helped hundreds of farmers save time and improve profitability. Before starting Good Agriculture, she worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, helping companies in non-digitally-native industries improve their financial and operational efficiency and was the Business Manager at the Atlanta Committee for Progress, which connects Atlanta’s Mayor and CEOs to launch socially impactful initiatives. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Economics from the University of Georgia. She is, ironically, a black thumb and is much better at killing plants than growing food.
